myzanadoo.com passes important landmark

MYZANADOO.COM, Ireland's first online booking website for Hair and Beauty salons has surpassed an important landmark. Despite only launching six weeks ago in January 2008 over 100 salons throughout Ireland are now live on the website and taking bookings online. It expects to have 500 salons by the end of the year.

myZanadoo.com is unique in that it lets consumers find a salon and then make a booking in real time. They can even find out when their preferred therapist is next available and book an appointment then and there - all from the comfort of their kitchen table or office desk 24 hours a day.

Sue Maguire, Sales Director of Phorest and myZanadoo.com says "The response from salons and consumers has been phenomenal. We've added twice as many salons as expected. In the very near future most if not all salon and spa appointments will be made online. The salons and spas that embrace the technology now are getting a massive competitive advantage. They are cutting down on receptionist time or if they don't have a receptionist, they are able to provide a virtual reception to customers instead of an answerphone. The best thing about myZanadoo for salons is that it is introducing new customers to your salon 24 hours a day."
