25 Salon Owners attend Phorest Customer Service Seminar

More than 25 salon owners and managers attended a seminar called "World Class Customer Service" in October hosted by Phorest.

The main speaker, Marlon D. Major of Phorest has 25 years experience in providing customer service training with world class companies such as Starbucks, Merrill Lynch and Pfizer.

Attendees included Patricia Clarke of Auradayspa, Anne Marie of Nuala Woulfe and Serenity Spa, Adrian O'Mahony from Spa Siam.

Catherine Trebble of Dundrum Laser Clinic told Phorest "It was very motivational day for all involved" while Donna Byrne of Free Spirit Hair and Beauty said "Marlon was very energetic, friendly, clear and motivating."

The theme of the day came about because of statistics from the U.S. that show that businesses with brilliant customer service continue to grow during a turbulent economy. Salons and spas provide a customer experience rather than a product and the better that experience, the more a customer will be willing to pay, and the more a customer will return to you again and again.

Marlon also showed delegates how they can use Phorest's Memento software to help them improve their customer service with some innovative customer service tools such as email feedback from clients and online booking.

Phorest will be hosting many more seminars over the next 12 months on building your salon business. If you are interested in attending any of them call 01 8747800 for more details or email seminars@phorest.com.
