In this session, Aoife Hannigan, Director of Engineering, and Verna Wall, Head of Research at Phorest, showcased how Phorest is revolutionising medspa and aesthetic clinic operations through AI, automation, and workflow optimisation.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>They also highlighted the partnership aspect of Phorest \u2013 connecting directly with clinic owners and staff, both online and in person. By constantly gathering feedback from clients, the Phorest Development Team has identified key operational challenges and developed effective solutions, tailored to the unique needs of medspas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Enhancing the Patient Experience with Data-Driven Insights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Verna\u2019s research, today\u2019s medspa clients value convenience and transparency. In fact, 56% of clients prefer to fill out consultation forms on their personal devices, emphasising the demand for digital-first solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Patients also rated the importance of viewing their personalised treatment plans before injectables at 8.4\/10. Verna highlighted that in the medi-aesthetic sphere, there\u2019s a need for clear, accessible information \u2013 and that Phorest is driven to offer this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Premium Consultations \u2013 Simplifying Processes for Clinics<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Building on feedback from last year\u2019s workshop, Aoife said that Phorest has improved its consultation tools to make processes more organised and professional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The highlight of these updates is the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.phorest.com\/features\/treatment-plans\/\">Treatment Plans<\/a> feature, which now includes Course Tables for structured multi-session treatments, the ability to capture multiple signatures for comprehensive consent, and significant note-taking improvements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These note-taking improvements include:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Handwriting-to-Text Conversion \u2013 This allows clinics to effortlessly digitise handwritten notes with AI.<\/li><li>Dot Phrasing \u2013 A new feature that enables clinics to save and reuse commonly used phrases, reducing repetitive typing and improving documentation speed.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.phorest.com\/features\/salon-crm-software\/\">Pre &amp; Post Care Instructions <\/a>were introduced, providing medspas and aesthetic clinics with tools to deliver clear and consistent care information to clients, further enhancing the patient experience.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Live Product Demo of AI and Workflow Efficiencies<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Aoife and Verna provided a live demonstration of the latest features, designed to simplify day-to-day operations in medspas and aesthetic clinics. The first of these features included data storage and accessibility, allowing clinics to view consent forms, treatment plans, photo galleries and markup tools all in one place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They also introduced AI-powered note-taking, which converts handwritten notes into digital text. The product demo displayed how this would not only save time \u2013 but could also reduce manual data entry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to this, Verna and Aoife showcased a live product demonstration of Dot Phrasing, which launches this month. Dot Phrasing allows clinics to save frequently used phrases and automatically insert them into notes, accelerating documentation while maintaining accuracy. This is also completely customisable to each business, saving time on inserting frequently used phrases and terms.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Phorest also continues to strengthen its imaging and documentation tools with the AI Background Remover \u2013 which creates cleaner, more professional before-and-after photos, perfect for showcasing results. There\u2019s also the Expanded Treatment Plan Notes feature, which allows for detailed documentation. This ensures comprehensive patient histories and improved care tracking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What\u2019s Next for Phorest\u2019s Medspa Tools?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Verna and Aoife emphasised Phorest\u2019s commitment to its medi-aesthetic clients, with several exciting features on the horizon. Among these is a Lead Management System to help clinics capture and track potential clients from the moment they call.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Verna\u2019s research, 56% of potential clients need to speak with someone before booking an appointment \u2013 and 47% of them prefer to do so by phone. This insight emphasises the need for a balanced approach that integrates technology \u2013 without sacrificing human connection. However, this feature can also be used to find and convert leads. When a potential client calls your medspa or aesthetic clinic, they\u2019re put down as a lead. Staff can follow up, eventually turning them into a loyal client.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Phorest has also made significant changes and developments to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.phorest.com\/features\/digital-consultation-forms\/\">Consultation Forms<\/a>. Now, consultation forms include voice notes for faster documentation during treatments and pre and post-care note-taking.
