Leaders are responsible for closing performance gaps
As Ken Blanchard once said, “The key to successful leadership is influence, not authority.” When you became a leader, you decided that you wanted the responsibility of helping other people get to their next best. In the salon, that means observing employees’ behaviour, reviewing the data at hand and pointing out performance opportunities.
Your challenge: See where each of your team members might have a performance opportunity. Take the time to observe their client experience and then share your observations and suggestions for how they can improve.
