What do we do with client information on customers that haven’t had an appointment in over two years; information of which is held on Phorest Salon Software? Do we just delete their information?

There is a Data Retention Option under Manager/Settings/General Settings that can automate the removal of clients who have not visited in a specific period. This ranges from 2-10 years. The default is off. It is the salon’s responsibility to check with their accountant and insurance company as to how long the client data needs to be retained and switch the feature on. Once you have set this, Phorest Salon Software will automatically remove the clients’ data which match the settings you’ve decided on.
