Streamlined Appointment Management<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019ve added a convenient new \u2018Appointment Planner<\/a>\u2019 to your Appointment Screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clicking the \u2018+\u2019 button opens a side panel where you can choose a client, swiftly rebook past or future appointments, and add new services. Any rebooked appointments will automatically select the same staff member. Phorest will suggest some suitable time slots, and voila! The appointment is created<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New and Improved Waitlist<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We have overhauled the Phorest Waitlist<\/a> to make it more powerful and user-friendly. The waitlist now presents a unified list of all waitlisted clients, which can be easily filtered by specific dates, times, and staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clients can specify their time slot preferences by selecting ‘Morning,’ ‘Afternoon,’ or both. At a glance, you can see all the clients currently on the waitlist, making it easy to find and schedule the right appointments to fill your calendar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New \u2018Week Hopper\u2019 Button<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019ve made it easier to navigate your appointment screen with a clear button to \u2018hop\u2019 between calendar weeks.  Now,  if you need to schedule an appointment for a client while checking them out, you can quickly jump anywhere from +2 weeks to + 10 weeks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For instance, if you want to add a new appointment six weeks from now, simply select \u2018+6\u2019 weeks from the drop-down to \u2018hop\u2019 forward, and in a few clicks, you\u2019re done. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Action Menu on Appointment Screen<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019ve added some low-key, high-impact benefits that will make your everyday tasks effortless. For example, hovering over an empty slot will display its time. Clicking on it will bring up an action menu allowing you to either add an appointment or a break. Plus, you can now add recurring breaks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We know how hectic the salon floor can be, so we wanted to make editing your calendar screen<\/a> as seamless as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Real-Time Updates<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The appointment screen now shows all updates in real-time. That means if one person adds an appointment from their device, all connected devices will instantly see the new appointment on theirs. This is the same for any online bookings that come in. No more need to refresh! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This will prevent accidental double bookings and keep the whole team in sync.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instant Updates With Zero Interruption<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

With this latest upgrade, software updates can happen in the background as you work without needing to download anything or restart Phorest. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to this new format,  you will receive new Phorest features and improvements to existing features more frequently. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Modernised Navigation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You\u2019ll notice that some menus and screens have an updated look and feel. Following research with the Phorest community, we made adjustments to help you flow through the Phorest system as smoothly and swiftly as possible. Don\u2019t worry; you can still find the same features<\/a> where you usually find them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For example, everything is in its usual place on the Client Screen, but we\u2019ve categorised the sub-sections so that finding the information you need is clearer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Basic Information, Appointment History, and Treatcard<\/a> are now housed under \u2018Appointments\u2019. We\u2019ve also moved Client Notes to the top of the Basic Information screen, so essential client information is more visible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
