Change needs to happen. And fast.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>This growing crisis in the industry is largely caused by the Government\u2019s unfair two-tier tax system, which forces local salons to pay 3X the amount of taxes that other businesses on the high street pay. These crippling conditions are threatening the livelihood of 90,000 hairdressers, barbers, and beauty professionals across the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Our Industry Is In Danger<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The hair and beauty industry has always been a pillar of local communities, creating jobs, offering apprenticeships, providing vital self-care services, and keeping high streets vibrant and thriving.
