Find what you need on today’s book in seconds

Who hasn’t confirmed yet? Who’s still missing a consultation form? Who booked online overnight? Who needs to be assigned to a staff member?

When you’re standing at the desk on a busy morning, you’re usually looking for one specific answer on a packed screen. Instead of scanning column by column and searching through a wall of appointments, you can now ask your calendar directly.

What’s new:

Instant filter view: Tap Filter at the top of your calendar to see what matters today including unconfirmed bookings, new clients, missing consultation forms, or unassigned staff bookings.

Smart groupings: The filter panel automatically moves options with matches to the top under Applicable, so you only see what actually applies to today’s book.

Quick search: Just start typing (like “conf”) to jump straight to the exact check you want to make.

Combine your checks: Select more than one option e.g. New clients plus Not confirmed so you can narrow down your focus in seconds.

Keep your overall view: Non-matching appointments simply fade into the background, so your search jumps out without losing sight of how busy the day is.

Turn your view into a call list: Switch your filtered view into a clear list complete with phone numbers and emails, making it easy to power through your morning confirmation calls.

How to use it: Tap the Filter button at the top of your calendar (Day View) to select your checks. A small dot on the button shows when filters are active. Hover over it anytime to see what’s applied, or tap Clear to return to your full calendar.

A small tweak to save your front desk team from scanning column by column, helping your morning checks run much faster.

Does your colourist rebook every client 12 weeks out? Does your aesthetics team bring injectable clients back at 16 weeks, or every six months?

Until now, the quickest jump on the calendar was 10 weeks. Anything further meant tapping Week forward again and again while the client waited at the desk. Now you can get there in one go.

What’s new:

Longer jumps: The skip-weeks menu now includes +12, +16 and +24 Weeks, alongside the existing 2 to 10.

See the date before you jump: Each option shows the exact date it lands on, so you can check it against the client’s diary before you commit.

On the Calendar, open the arrow next to the 6 + button and pick how far ahead to go.

Fewer clicks at the desk, and your longer-cycle clients are rebooked before they’ve put their coat on.

Was their last visit a five-star experience, or did something not quite land? Are they happier with every visit, or slowly drifting away?

Your clients are already telling you through their reviews. Now you can see it right where you need it: on the appointment and on their client card.

Snapzy_2026-10-12_10-56-34_735

What’s new:

Their rating, right on the appointment: Open any appointment and you’ll see the client’s average review score beside their name. It’s a quick read on how they feel before they arrive.

Spot the trend at a glance: A small arrow and colour show whether their rating is going up or down since their last visit. If it’s slipping, that’s your cue to check in, make it right, or have a quiet word with the team before they’re in the chair.

Every review in one place: A new Reviews tab on the client card shows everything they’ve written: their star rating, their comments, any photos, and who looked after them, for which service, and at which location.

The overall picture first: The top of the tab shows their average score and how many reviews they’ve left, so you know straight away if you’re looking at a regular fan or a first-time reviewer.

How to use it: Tap the star rating on any appointment to jump straight to that client’s reviews, or open their client card and select the Reviews tab. You’ll see reviews here if you collect them through Phorest’s online reviews.

A small addition that helps your team walk into every appointment knowing exactly where they stand.

Does one of your stylists work best in 45-minute blocks? Does another need every booking to start on the hour so their day doesn’t fill up with awkward 15-minute gaps?

A packed column with odd gaps is lost time, and lost revenue. Until now, keeping each person’s pattern meant the front desk had to remember it and do the sums for every booking. Now your calendar remembers it for you.

What’s new:

See each person’s rhythm at a glance: Columns for team members with a set booking pattern now show soft alternating bands, starting from the beginning of their shift. Their pattern also shows under their name (e.g. “Custom cadence: 45 min”), so anyone at the desk knows how that person works.

The right time, as you hover: Hover over a slot in their column and you’ll see the nearest time that fits their pattern before you book.

A gentle nudge, or a firm rule, your choice: Set a pattern as a guide and the calendar suggests the closest time that fits whenever a booking is slightly off. Tap Book at to take it, or Keep if the client really needs that time. Set it as strict and off-pattern start times aren’t allowed. You’ll see the closest available slot instead, and times that are already booked are skipped.

Works however you book: New bookings, drag-and-drop, and changing a service time when editing an appointment all follow the same pattern.

Online bookings always stay on pattern: Clients booking online are only offered times that fit the pattern, whether it’s set as a guide or strict. Overnight bookings won’t break up tomorrow’s column, and the desk can still make exceptions for in-salon bookings when it makes sense.

How to use it: Go to Manager > Staff, select a team member and open Settings in their profile. Set their pattern length and choose whether it’s a guide or strict. Their column picks it up on your Day View straight away.

A small change that keeps your team’s days tight and predictable, and saves the desk from doing calendar maths at 9am.

Do you want a team member to focus on boosting sales for a newly launched service, driving a seasonal promo, or pushing a specific retail brand? You can now set individual Staff Goals for specific services or retail.

When creating an individual staff’s goal, simply switch the toggle on to select services in Service Sales metric or to select products in Retail Sales metric for this goal to target the exact items or brands you want them to focus on

Got a client booking two (or more) services in one visit? Maybe a cut with one stylist and a colour with another? We just made it a lot smoother to pick a different staff member for each service in the same booking.

When you’re building a multi-service booking, switching staff for the second (or third!) service no longer means backing out and starting over — you can just pick who you want, right there, for each service individually.

Small change, but if you run multi-staff bookings often, it should shave a good few clicks (and a bit of frustration) off your day. 🙌
