$250,000 dedicated to salon growth

The Phorest Growth Fund is a give back initiative established by Phorest Salon Software to help salons by way of contributing financially to their growth plans. It is a no-strings-attached allocation of funding that salons can apply for under a number of Growth categories up to a maximum of $2,000 per business. Each application is reviewed by an independent panel over a six week period. Where applications both meet the criteria and present the strongest business case, a number of applicants (but potentially not all, dependent on demand) will receive some or all of the funds applied for. Applicants will be informed of the status of their application at the mid-way point of review and when the review period ends. Any applicants who do not receive monetary funding will be entered into the Phorest Growth Program, whereby they will receive advice and support in their chosen growth area to help them reach their goals. Any salon, spa or clinic that is a Phorest customer can apply to The Phorest Growth Fund, in any region of the world. This fund is explicitly a business growth fund and is not designed to assist people in times of financial hardship or distress. To give salons adequate time to prepare, this page was updated on 01 March with further information on the application process, selection criteria and the independent panelists. A salon must be a customer of Phorest Salon Software for a minimum of 3 months. Applicants can only apply for funding up to a maximum of $2,000 in year one of the Phorest Growth Fund.

Funding should be requested for a Business Growth purpose that can show proven ROI, in the categories of Marketing, Coaching, Team Education, Scaling My Business. Late applications cannot be considered.

The Phorest Growth Fund is overseen by an independent panel made up of industry experts and independent financial consultants. To avoid conflict of interest, no employees at Phorest will be on the review panel nor can influence any application. Confirmed panelists are below, with more to come:

Final allocations will be communicated to salons on 1 July 2022.

All salons that apply to the Phorest Growth Fund will be invited to enroll in the Phorest Business Growth Accelerator. This three-month course will provide a blend of live and on-demand education and resources in the areas of recruitment, staff retention, marketing, business growth and planning for the future. Each applicant who does not receive funding will also be given an opportunity to ask for feedback on their application and receive advice on improvements for subsequent years.

Only one application is permitted for a maximum of $2,000, regardless of the number of salons you own. You can, if you wish, use the funds across a number of locations. If that will be the case, please note this in your application.

Funding will be allocated on the basis that particular services, consultants fees or materials have been approved for funding by our independent panel. Payment is made from Phorest to the salon owner on receipt of the invoices for services rendered. Further information on the allocation process will be published on 01 March 2022.
