CEO and Founder of IMAGE Skincare Janna Ronert Joins Phorest’s Board of Directors

We are delighted to announce today that we are welcoming Janna Ronert, CEO and founder of IMAGE Skincare to our board of directors.

Just weeks after announcing the major appointment of Davines CEO Paolo Braguzzi to our board, we are very proud to reveal that beauty powerhouse Ronert is also joining the team, bringing further expertise and industry insight that we can use to bring improvements to our software and pass on to our clients.

Serial entrepreneur and global beauty businesswoman Ronert famously started IMAGE Skincare after facing her own experience of a problematic skin issue called rosacea, and a lack of effective products on the market to treat it. Today, IMAGE Skincare is a salon staple, and much-loved consumer brand with over 25,000 customers and a presence in more than 70 countries.

Building on her success in skincare, Ronert launched a new brand called Hush & Hush in 2019 – a line of luxury beauty supplements with the mission to help its customers live younger, longer that has quickly become a beauty insiders’ favourite. Speaking of her newest undertaking, sitting on the board at Phorest, Ronert shared her intention to put her industry expertise to good use to help salon owners grow and thrive just as she has done.

“I am thrilled to join the board of directors at Phorest. My experience and passion in the professional beauty space will allow me to work with the team to globally grow this exciting and innovative business at Phorest .”

Our CEO Ronan Perceval shares an equal passion for the industry and has long admired Ronert’s business success and dedication to supporting others as she has grown.

“Janna is not only one of the greatest success stories of our industry, she is also an international health and wellness speaker and female empowerment advocate. I can’t think of anyone better to support us on our next phase of growth, while keeping the business owners in our salon community front and centre of everything we do.”

Along with Paolo Braguzzi, Ronert now sits on a diverse panel of experts that make up the Phorest Board of Directors. The other board members are Olivia Leonard, Director of Instagram EMEA; James Myerscough, CEO of Educogym; Jonathan Klahr, Growth Equity Investor at SGE and tech entrepreneur and Phorest’s Chairman Patrick Garvey.

Hear Janna Ronert discuss the need for the industry to embrace technology and subscribe to the Phorest FM podcast to get new episodes weekly!

About Janna Ronert

In an industry complicated by unnecessary chemicals, IMAGE Skincare founder Janna Ronert set out to create products powered by smart botanicals and high percentages of safe, proven active ingredients – something she couldn’t find on the market. As an aesthetician battling rosacea, Janna believed that all women deserve simplicity, value and results when it comes to their skincare – and deserve their best skin possible. IMAGE Skincare started in a tiny apartment in 2003 with our OG and bestselling sensitivity collection – Vital C – and now has 13 collections in over 70+ countries worldwide. In 2012, Janna was honoured with Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award, and she is recognized among the top 200 CEOs in the USA.
