With the recent Phorest Salon Software update, you may have noticed a # SalonSelfie column magically appear in the reviews section of your software.

    And how is this relevant to salons with clients 40+ in age? They are not interested in selfies! Your system adds this automatically to a post treatment text ‘what did you think’ …. The salon has no control over these texts. Why would I want phorest to take over my marketing without consent?

    • Hi Anna, thanks for commenting. They submit the review first then they have the option to take a selfie – the review is submitted regardless of the selfie so it’s business as usual if you wish. I would also point out that the 40+ demographic is the fastest growing demographic on social media plus attracting younger clients through features like this can only be good for business long-term.
